Oh dear! I've turned into one of those bloggers who only blogs once a week and just records the details of their runs etc. Oooops!
This past week was week 1 of the rough training plan I'm following. Part Joe Friel, part Clark and part whatever the hell I can fit into my hectic life. It really isn't as easy as I thought!
Sun - run with Gordy
Mon - swim session
Tues - run with Clark
Wed - bike session on turbo trainer
Thurs - weights session
Fri - REST!!
Sat - swim + bike combo session
There is so much else going on right now that I actually had to look up my diary to remind me what I'd done this week. It feels like I just had endless meetings, some important and some just a plain waste of time! I was also part of an interview panel which was an interesting experience.
But the big news here is that No1 son David is moving out. HOORAY!!!! He's got a flat in Crieff and gets the keys on Friday. Although he's looking forward to it, he's a bit stressed as he's just starting realise there are loads of things he's going to be responsible for by himself. He'll be fine.
So it will be just me and Gordy rattling round the house ourselves. It will be strange for a while but I expect we'll get used to it pretty quickly. Then the process of selling this house and buying myself a new one will begin.

FFS Ali! you will be hitting us with a spreadsheet next :-D
You seem to be doing well. Keep up the good work. How is the biking going on?
I haven't been looking at blogs for a while as I have been doing some voluntary work but just realised I can't access the CL site. Do you know why?
It's a shame if it's gone by the board, as I can't access another one either.
Anyway, I'm going to have a good look at your progress after tea.
Hope David isn't getting a feeling of being ushered oot the door by the size of that HOORAY!!!!
Sounds like things are going well. You are permitted to shed a tear when David goes. It will ne something like his first day at school.
Davie, I promise no spreadsheets!!!
CF, dunno why CL site is down. I'll try get a hold of someone to find out.
Davie, the big HOORAY is mutual!! And yeah there will be tears esp as he has had to battle to reach this stage.
I was in floods of tears when I left home. My Mum wasn't though. Maybe because she's STILL trying to get shot of me. I'm the ony one that still has my own bedroom in her house :-)
Good Job on the training front!

Well, it must have been a glitch as it is now back up.
